It was not very extensible internally, but it and all its successors came with a port for an external floppy disk drive. In a time where hard disks were still very expensive, this was a welcome addition. Enter: the Commodore 1010 external floppy disk drive. A 3.5 inch drive with 880k capacity and the design language of the first Amiga. I recently got one and it needs a bit of a cleaning.
